Important Order Information – TERMS & CONDITIONS
Our dispatch day is Tuesday. All orders received by Sunday midnight will be dispatched on the Tuesday. If we are experiencing a high demand which could delay your order, we will let you know asap, please let us know if your order is urgent. Occasionally we may need to dispatch on a Wednesday for instance due to bank holidays or unforeseen circumstances.
MINIMUM ORDER – Please Note: because of cost of delivery we have put in place a £20 Minimum Order, EXCLUDING POSTAGE – As we’re a small, artisan company the actual delivery cost is £9.55 per box. We understand that this is not competitive in comparison to larger food delivery corporations and so we subsidise this by £4.56 ourselves. It’s a flat rate shipping cost so that you can order several items per £4.99 delivery charge (the maximum we can fit into a box is about 20 cheeses or 30 meats).
All deliveries are next day (not guaranteed). We will email you on the day your box has been dispatched. On the day of delivery you will receive a text from the DHL courier letting you know your box is out for delivery that day, no time slots given I’m afraid. If you are not in you will get a card through the door which will ask you to contact DHL to rearrange for another delivery attempt, please do this asap.
Key information we must have to process your order: –
- A MOBILE number – this is for the courier to text you when your parcel is out for delivery (no other reason)
- An address that you are certain that you or someone else will be able to receive the package, we are not responsible for any missed deliveries.
In the ‘Additional Information’ at the check out we advise you to put an additional contact number just in case. If you have any courier requests i.e. leave in basket in porch you are welcome to put them in this section, however the courier does not guarantee that they can follow those instructions.
Your chilled Lettices products must be refrigerated upon arrival. If you cannot be home to receive the items at the time of delivery we suggest having the order delivered to your work address, or to a family member, friend, or a friendly neighbour who can place your items into proper refrigeration promptly upon arrival.

What you can expect from us
- At the point of ordering you will receive an order confirmation email
- On the dispatch date of your package you will receive an email from Lettices letting you know that your package has been collected by the courier
- On the day of delivery you will receive a text from DHL the courier letting you know that your package is being delivered that day (this is to be expected the day after you receive your dispatch email, but not guaranteed).

Holiday Ham – can be frozen
BBQ Sticky Ribs – can be frozen
Popperoni – can be frozen
Camembear Spread – can be frozen. Also can be baked, remove from plastic tub, place in foil, bake in oven on 180c for approximately 15 mins (if your Camembear is frozen leave it in the fridge overnight to thaw before baking)
Blue Beauty – do not freeze unless after freezing you plan to melt it.
Better Fetter – do not freeze unless after freezing you plan to melt it.
Smokey Bakon Spread – can be frozen. Also can be baked, remove from plastic tub, place in foil, baking in oven on 180c for approximately 15 mins (if your Smokey Bakon is frozen leave it in the fridge overnight to thaw before baking)
Mayomazing – do not freeze, keep refrigerated and use within 12 days (approx)
Garlic & Herb Dip – do not freeze, keep refrigerated and use within 8 days (approx)
